About two months ago, I started to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. I'm not new to shooters, and I thought I would be able to deal some decent kick-ass in MW3 multiplayer, but things didn't go that smoothly as I thought they would. My performance was low and average, and it was pretty clear I was missing something. Whenever something isn't right in a game, I usually look for a guide, and in this case I found a nice MW3 guide.
A few friends of mine laughed at me when they heard this. They said that you don't need a guide to play this game, but I managed to prove them wrong. Within a week, I badly kicked their butt on any Modern Warfare 3 map, and they had to take back whatever they said.
Here are a few aspects about this MW3 guide that I like:
1. It taught me about each and every strategic point on any map. Knowing any of the MW3 maps in detail, I knew where to ambush them, where to hide, which were the safest routes between certain points of interest, etc.
2. It taught me how to polish my skills. The MW3 guide I've been working with actually has four specific sections that focus on helping you to enhance your combat prowess. There's a sight guide, an accuracy guide, an awareness guide and a reaction guide, that will help anyone sharpen their reflexes at maximum.
3. It taught me everything about the weapons in Modern Warfare 3, which ones would be the most appropriate for a certain class, and how to upgrade it to be able to react quickly, how to shoot it properly, to always be the one standing after a fire exchange.
4. It taught me tons of tricks on how to minimize the number of my deaths and the maximize the number of kills in each and every game.
5. Lastly, this MW3 guide provided me with plenty of videos with commentaries, where some of the experts in the team that have written it, explain almost every move they make, allowing you to understand perfectly what you must do, or where you were making mistakes and how to correct them.
Of course, the Modern Warfare 3 guide that I'm talking about also covers the campaigns and survival modes of the game. These sections aren't bad at all, but I'm not really interested in the "PvE" aspect of the game. Multiplayer is all I play when it comes to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
This Modern Warfare guide has shown me how to cover the gap between average and pro, how to cover all the flaws in my gameplay, and I recommend it to any Modern Warfare 3 player that wants to take their game experience to a superior level.
