If you are unfamiliar with addons for World of Warcraft, don't feel bad there was a time I was just like you. In fact I was dead set against using them. To this day I really am not sure why. Maybe I thought of it as some type of unfair advantage or I just thought my account would be banned. Over time I got to the point that I understood the importance of addons and how they can help you have so much more fun and time in the game.
Basically an addon is a small application that helps you in tedious tasks to just make game play much more enjoyable. Don't be like I was a wait a few years to start using addons, because all you are doing is missing out on valuable game time. I wanted to walk you through three basic but essential addons to make your WoW life a lot easier. So get ready to lose the headaches you have associated with WoW and plan on much easier game play. Now first off, if you have never experienced an addon before I would suggest you become familiar with the Curse Client, this is a simple application that is going to manage, download and install all of your addons.
OK let's take a look at these addons that are going to simplify your online gaming life.
Do you try to watch for the lows and highs that come with the many items in WoW. If not you should be because it is a good way to get rich, however it is a very time-consuming task. But if you want to make that gold you really need to be aware of all the prices at any given time. This is why I love the addon, Market Watcher! By using Market Watcher you can track any number of prices as well as display over graphs. This way you can see the actual value of items and not their prices at any given time.
An addon that I use all of time to this day is the Auctionator, now forget the corny name and let's focus on the power of this bad boy. If you are in the game to make gold, you need this essential addon. Not only is this addon easy to use, but it is very simple to learn. You take the user friendly interface and scan past and present auction prices. Plus you can post your auctions, check in on them and even buy items all with the click of a button. The Auctioneer is really an addon you should not be without...unless of course, you are not looking to stack up large amounts of gold!
Last but not least, we have the Auctioneer, and as the name implies it is another highly useful auction addon. If you are looking for an easier life as well as a more profitable one in the Auction House this addon is a must have. When you start to use the Auctioneer to post and buy for you, you are going to have so much more time to do other more important things in-game. Plus, have you ever wanted to know the true value of anything, well you can with the Auctioneer. Everything from recipes to items found in various quests. If you love the Auction House, but hate all the time associated with it, I would become familiar with Auctioneer real fast!
